just what I needed

I have needed some major motivation in the paper crafting department these days. I think my mind has just been thinking about single & double crochets for too many weeks now. The contest at the card positioning systems blog was just what I needed for a kick in the pants! Sketches always seem to do the trick for me and then having a chance to win a Scor-Pal is icing on the cake! I didn't think I needed or wanted a tool like that (one more thing to store) but after seeing the beautiful creations the girls did over there....SOLD! I still cannot get over how quickly & easily Kelly made that coordinating envelope with it. I am always having trouble finding the right sized envelopes for my cards because I don't plan ahead with what I have. This would definitely solve that problem in the future!

Now I'm going to cross my fingers that I can keep this motivation going today! Summer is on it's way (or could be here already since we are supposed to hit 100+ today, YIKES!) and I always have trouble getting motivated then too. I think I'm going to challenge myself to create something with the CPS sketches each week. Just to keep the paper crafting side of my brain working!
